Cobra 5040, The CobraCrane 5040 Lightweight Freewheeling Dolly System features universal locking which makes it perfect for small crane systems such as the CobraCrane I and the CobraCrane Backpacker, as well as virtually any lightweight tripod systems. Designed for smaller crane systems that need to be mobile and not confined to a track. Made of a super light weight material it is light weight, yet extremely durable and rugged. It also folds down to make stowing and transport a breeze. The convenient carrying handle makes carrying the CobraCrane Freewheeling Dolly even that much more convenient, plus a handy soft carrying case is also included. The wheels are made of soft rubber, so they resist bumping and jarring on "not so smooth" surfaces. That makes this system ideal for "trucking" (moving left and right of subject) and "dolly shots" (in and out of subject). This system mates real well with the CobraCrane I and the CobraCrane I BackPacker cranes. The universal locking system used to mount most any tripod, makes it ideal for use with most all small tripods on the market. The three inch diameter wheels feature individual locking mechanisms for positive locking into a fixed position. Each wheel's surface is made of a soft rubber material, designed to withstand small bumps and imperfections on an otherwise smooth floor.
